radiator removal and replacement1950 Chevrolet 750 |
September 12th, 2021 04:34:18 pm, posted by Mel Epps |
I have to replace the radiator on my 1950 Chevy Styleline Delux 6 cyl 235 engine with Powerglide. I have removed all nuts & bolt and pitcock, loosened the upper hose and loosened the two fasteners on the lower hose. I cannot disconnect the lower hose from the radiator to the water pump do to the tight fit of the hose.
Question 1: How do I disconnect the lower hose so I can pull the radiator out?
Questionn 2: How do I connect the lower hose, lower the radiator then get the lower hose attached to the water pump?
Thanks for any help you can give.
