71 Cutlass help 1971 Oldsmobile CUTLASS SUPREME |
September 14th, 2010 04:36:46 pm, posted by me |
I have a 71 cutlass supreme.. I started the car like always and let it run for at least 2 minutes before I started driving it. Well I backed out of the garage, didn't realize the parking break was on. So I parked it back in the garage instead of driving. After I shut the car off , it made a clicking kinda noise that came from the hood on the driver side which lasted for a few seconds. This morning I let go off the break , started the car again. To make sure , I shut the car off and the same noise came on again which lasted for at least 5 seconds with a little smoke that came out of the hood. No burning smell , nothing. I'm wondering if its because I drove it like 20 feet off my driveway with the parking breaks on or could it be because it is low on gas since it has a 450 engine?
Thanks , Emily
