1966 Chevrolet Chevelle
1966 Chevelle Super Sport This is an original 138 Code Super Sport that still has its original numbers matching motor. Not many Muscle Cars of the vintage can say that. It is a 396 with 325 HP. Let’s go back to Daytona in 1963 when Chevy “back-doored” a “Mystery 427” to the Daytona 500 and amazes everyone. These 396’s were a derivative of those “Mystery 427’s” with the semi-hemi, porcupine heads (canted valves). Gone were the boxy looking Chevelles. These Chevelles looked like they should!
