1940 Ford Coupe
A beautifuly restored 1940 Ford Coupe. All Steel 40 Coupe. The real deal. She may have a nostalgic look with the whitewall tires, chrome wheel rings, chrome V8 center cap but don\'t be fooled.. this 40 Coupe is all street rod. Sitting on a jig built custom frame with Pete and Jakes Ladder Bar, Heidt SuperRide front end, coil over adjustable shocks at all four wheels. Underneath of car, car body, all frame components powdercoated to match top side color. Nothing to hide underneath. Disc brakes in front, drum on the rear. 9\" Ford rear end New from the factory 350 Chevy crate engine and a 200r transmission to get the power to the ground. Custom stainless headers all the way back to the dual stainless in the back. A true dual exhaust. Puts out approx 340 HP. Engine compartment is finished out very nicely with many chrome components. Inside will find an eye catching custom leather interior and trunk space to match. Spare in the trunk matches the four on the ground. Hidden battery compartment in the trunk with shutoff switch. Vintage heat and air with old style lever controls. Ford AM/FM radio with powered antennae. All new windows, seals, all electrical, instrumentaion, everything. This car was built by a professional steetrod builder, one with over 30+ years experience. A Mechanical Engineer by trade so you know every piece fits as it should, every gap, every seam is perfect. 4200 miles on car since rebuild finish. Runs and drives very well.
