| October 10th. Waxahachie Fun Run sponsored by Shakers and Scrapers Car Club and the Cool Cars Car Club. Located at Getzendander Park in Waxahachie. All proceeds benefit Texas Baptist Children's Home in Waxahachie. Registration 9 am to 1 pm; awards at 4 pm. Lots of door prizes. Goodie bags & dash plaques for the 1st 75 entries. Concessions. Tee shirts. Lots of shade! 50/50 Jar. Music all day. This is an open Run. If it runs - bring it! Last year we even had a tractor! $100 club participation award. Awards for top 25 (voting by entrants) plus special awards from Mayor, Fire Dept., Club choice, People's choice and more. Follow the signs to the park. Entry: $20.
