On OCTOBER 26, 27, & 28, 2007 the Virginia Peninsula Car Club Council, the Newport News Police Department and the Newport News Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department will host the 5th Annual Virginia Fall Classic vehicle show charity events. Fall back in time and move into the future as you take part in this event for the whole family.
Our huge Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will be held Saturday, October 27th at the beautiful Newport News Park in Newport News from 8:00 am to 4 pm. This show will be open to ALL years, makes and models of ANY type of motorized vehicle and will include the graceful antique vehicles of the past, the muscle cars of our dreams, and the high technology vehicles of today and tomorrow.
Many other events are planned before and after the show to further enhance a great weekend. Fun at Ferguson, Join us Friday, Oct 26th for a Cruise-In and /or Dinner. Outback Steakhouse has proudly donated the food. All these activities will be held at the Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., 12500 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News. On Sunday, October 28th. we will take a slow laid-back Cruise .In the past this has been time to unwind and relax.
ALL proceeds from the Virginia Fall Classic events are donated to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. With your help, over $93,000 has been donated to this great cause from the Virginia Fall Classic events! This year’s goal is to raise $50,000.00 to help purchase a new X-Ray machine for the CHKD Health Center at Oyster Point. For more information on the Children’s Hospital, please visit www.chkd.org.
