The SECOND ANNUAL Slo-Rider Car Cruise In |

| Car enthusiasts and their families and friends are invited to cruise-in, hang out, picnic and socialize at the Slo-Rider Car Cruise-In, a fundraiser for the Slovenian National Home (NASH) to be held at the Slovenian picnic grounds at 1340 Yates Lane, Avon. The event will celebrate and showcase registered classic cars with a manufacture date of 1977 or prior. Cars in all stages of restoration are welcome to show but MUST be able to move on their own power without the help of a trailer. Registered cars will automatically go into a drawing to win a “just because” trophy. We have room for 100 cars. Pre- registration is $5 OR $8 day of show. We have spots for 100 cars and they are filling quickly, so register your car soon! Motorcycles are also welcome to register and show at the cruise-in. Same registration rates apply. They do not have to be ‘77 or older, but must be modified in a traditional style. No orange county chopper-style, billet-laden bikes, modern stock bikes or modern baggers will be allowed to show. Bring your chopper/board track style bicycles also! Hot Dogs will be provided to guests, but feel free to bring food to pitch-in or to enjoy as a picnic on the grounds. The event is BYOB. There is a playground on-site and bocce ball court. An area will be set up in the pavilion for jam sessions if attendees care to bring instruments. Camping on the grounds will be allowed after the cruise-in for $5 a spot. A bonfire will be provided, weather permitting, and family-friendly hot rod or related films will be projected on a screen at dusk. All proceeds go to the Slovenian National Home. |
