Spring Spin-Off Car show |

| Trident Technical College’s Department of Automotive Technology will host the 23rd Annual Spring Spin-Off Car Show on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on TTC’s Main Campus (7000 Rivers Ave., North Charleston) behind Building 800. This event is free for spectators and open to the community.
If you plan to register a vehicle in the car show, please register online at www.tridenttech.edu/carshow.htm or contact Buzz Varella at 843.574.6184 or Clint Snider at 843.574.6725. Pre-registration by April 22 is $20; event-day registration is $25 and will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on April 25. There is no rain date for this event.
In addition to the car show, there will be food, music and drawings for door prizes. Trophy awards will be presented at the end of the Spring Spin-Off, starting at 2 p.m.
Proceeds of the car, truck and motorcycle show benefit the W. Athell Yon Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to TTC students pursuing careers in automotive technology. TTC offers an Automotive Technology associate degree that prepares students to become technicians and supervisors or managers. Several certificates focus on specific automotive areas, including transmission, brakes and alignment, and engine performance and repair.
