Seventh Annual Honor Our Vets Car Show |
August 6th, 2016
From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM |
The Vietnam Veterans of America, Capital District Chapter 8 and Adirondack Chapter 79 is once again hosting the Honor Our Vets Car Show on the grounds of the Stratton VAMC. Proceeds from the show benefit local vets treated and/or housed at the VA and are used to support non-government funded items such as boots, coats, gloves, blanket warmers for chemotherapy patients, and much, much more. In the last 6 years, the VVA Chapters have donated about $60,000. to the Stratton VA.
The event features music, food, 50/50 raffles and giveaways as well as trophies in various categories for entries. There will be displays of military vehicles with military ceremony at 12:00 Noon.
Free admission - Car registration is for donation to the veterans that have served and kept us safe. |
