Second Saturday Tour: Hopped Up With Horse Power |

| “Hopped Up with Horse Power”
The Museum offers special tours every Second Saturday of the month at 2pm. A new topic is featured every month! Free with Museum Admission.
This tour will be focused on a brief history of engine modifications made to popular car makes and models by those who were mechanically inclined enough to do so. This tour will include additional information on our speed exhibits that display racing history and how the influence of the “shade tree” mechanic helped make automotive racing once of the most successful spectator sports in the country. Your tour guide, Paul Cocciante, is an experienced docent that the California Automobile Museum with a strong combination of an extensive technical background and thorough racing knowledge.

The Second Saturday Tour Series at the California Automobile Museum is an opportunity for visitors to hear unique and fresh topics from the automobile world. Our volunteer docents lead the tours, and as they choose their own favorite topics and do extensive research, you are sure to have an enjoyable time.
