Summer fun is starting early on Saturday, May 21, 2011 when the Livermore Knights of Columbus will be holding a combined rib cook-off and hot rod car show. Awards will be given for the top ribs as well in several categories for the car show. The event will be held at the corner of Church Street and 2nd Street in Livermore and will run from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Everyone is invited to participate in the fun by tasting the great ribs and other food and to check out the hot rod cars. There is no cost for admission. More information is available online at www.kofc4588events.org.
Proceeds will go to help the Knights and their charitable activities which are directed toward those who live in the Livermore community.
