Oil City Gumbo Cookoff and Car Show

This awesome community event occurs at the beginning of the summer each year. Gumbo competition teams will be on site cooking from early in the morning and live music will start just before 11 when the gates open. We would like all of the cars in the car show to be in by 10 and after 10:30 no vehicles will be allowed to move around the field. The gates will open to the public at 11am on June 1st and wristbands are $10 at the gate which includes free gumbo tasting, live music and the admittance to the car show. Set up will start at 8:30 am, and tear down will start at 5. Our car show is a super fun place to hang out, and food and drinks will be provided by both vendors and gumbo teams. There will be vendors from local businesses, a kids area, and live music played by local artists all day, making this a great event for the whole family. $10 to enter your car in the car show for fun prizes voted on by attendees.
