Assembled over the course of five decades, the famous Chicago-area collection features an eclectic series of automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles and vintage memorabilia, many of which were sourced locally.
For the car enthusiast, highlights include a unique twin-grille Lincoln, a rare BWM Veritas Convertible with Spohn body, and an Edwards that won two races in its class at Pebble Beach, along with a selection of Ford Model T, Model A, and V-8 motor cars, many in original condition. Motorcycles highlights include an all-original 1911 Pope, a 1912 Sears Twin, and an exceptional 1913 Flying Merkel Twin, believed to be one of the most original examples in existence. The multi-day sale also features numerous bicycles, many in original condition, including a 1934 Iver Johnson, an Elgin Bluebird, and a Schwinn Aerocycle.
