Burning Up The Beach |

| This event consists of various car clubs both locally and long distance. This year's car show is formatted solely to cars from the fifties through 1974. The intent of this show is to keep the event as true and nostalgic to that era for the public to enjoy and appreciate the great times of the past. In attendance throughout this event as the M/C for the evening Sock Hop will be the popular Nationwide DJ Oldies Sirius Radio personality "Bobby B" who is in part sponsoring this event. Aside from various foods, exhibitors selling general merchandise and car part vendors, there will be dance contests, trivia along many other entertaining activities. Oldie groups and bands will be showcased performing live throughout the day and evening. Awards will be given to participants for various best of show cars as well as dance participants. There are also be drive- in movie night for car show registrants during the evening simulating a 50's outdoor drive-in theater. In keeping with the 50's and 60's fun atmosphere and era, B rated science fiction thrillers, horror and car related movies will be shown for everyone's enjoyment. If you savor the nostalgia of the good ole days, 50's and 60's rock and roll, greased hair, tail fins and pony tails, we have got a great party for you, your friends and entire family! |
