Following its successful debut motorcycle offering in Auburn, Indiana earlier this fall, Auctions America by RM is revving up for its upcoming motorcycle auction at the Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham, Alabama on October 8, 2011.
Located at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, an estimated 150 classic motorcycles spanning a broad range of marques and eras are expected to cross the podium during the afternoon sale.
Prominent entries include: a restored, well-documented 1956 Triton 650cc T120R, a beautiful example of an original Triton Cafe Racer (Est. $25,000 - $30,000); a highly sought-after, expertly-restored 1915 Harley-Davidson V-Twin Electric Motorcycle, the first year for Harley-Davidson’s all electric lights and three speed transmission (Est. $65,000 - $75,000); and, a beautiful 1926 Ace 1000cc Motorcycle, one of the most elegant of all early American motorcycles (Est. $75,000 - $85,000).
