6th Annual Wirt County Pioneer Day Classic and Antique Car SHow |
October 4th, 2008
From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM |
This event is held in conjunction with the Pioneer Day. Designed to celebrate the traditons of the early pioneers and settlers in the Wirt County area of West Virginia.
There will be food, live music and demostrations of early pioneer life all day. There will also be crafts, games, bed-races, with old hotel and museum tours held hourly. More events and vendors being added weekly.
Entries are to be of classic or antique make and model. Trophies will include, Oldest, Farthest Traveled, Best of Show, People's Choice and The Ralph Woodall Memorial Trophy. Cost is $10.00 per entry. Registration begins 9am. Judging begins 12 Noon and awards will be announced at 4pm from stage. |
