Hello and please let me extend to you my personal invitation to this years Honda S-Car Gathering This is the 26th year that we are putting this on, and I not only hope that you are able to attend, but in doing so that you find it fun, entertaining, and educational as well THIS IS THE MAIN EVENT This is what weve been waiting for all year long PLEASE Show your support and enthusiasm by attending, and bringing your car, if at all possible. Your participation is the key to making this event a success If it is too far for you to drive your car, trailer it Even if its not running, bring it anyway Were not fussy Who knows, we might get it running during shop time on Saturday afternoonMy plans, as usual, include the following1- to, as always, contact as many new people as possible to continue the growth of the Gathering and the Honda Sports Registry.2- to keep people that I am already in touch with interested and enthused through our club, the Honda Sports Registry.3-to vary and expand the roster of events for the Gathering to keep it fun and interesting.Im certain that there are many other people out there, with whom Im not familiar, that may be involved with these cars on some level. This is where you come in PLEASE Spread the word. The more people we get involved, the better it is for everybody Plus, if we can keep the interest level high, we should be able to bring more of these cars back to life After all, that was the main point of the first Gathering.One of the most important things to have happen each year is for everyone to attend the Gathering. We also need attendance plans as soon as possible. This needs to happen for quite a few reasons. Some of them include: figuring numbers of people for lunch, dinner and facilities amounts of food and drink accommodations for some of the events and so on. It is very important to know who is coming and how many so that we can be prepared. The sooner you respond, the better, but please make it absolutely no later than August 27th.
