| My name is Betty Anne. I am the President of Lady Luck CC based out of Oakland, CA. Some of my hobbies include building my ‘49 Kaiser, performing in my Johnny Cash tribute band, playing Jerry Lee Lewis on the piano, and sewing my own clothes/pin-up wardrobe. I love pin-up in the original art form and all things vintage. Drawn to black and whites when I was 5, it developed into a lifestyle. As a single mom I am trying to instill in my daughter the importance of confidence, determination, and appreciation for who came before us. I dropped a 350 SB into my '49 and she has yard parts from 6 different cars. Some Kaiser enthusiasts jokingly bust my chops about not restoring the original L head, but I'm really proud of taking a shell of a car and completely building it into a hell-of-a car (from 3 tries on drive shaft lengths to 3 tries on my door panels). She's my Frankenstein, her name is Marilyn and she's a badass. |
