required milling for usage if needed1957 Ford CUSTOM 300 |
July 1st, 2009 05:13:17 am, posted by kenneth gray |
I have spindles/ rotors/ bearings/ seal / pads from a 1971 ford galaxie 500 w/ front disc brakes to put on my 1957 ford custom 300 prostreet. I know early granada parts are usually used, but i acquired these and everything is beefier, for my needed usage. Question is regarding upper and lower ball joints, currently have new 57 ups and lows on ""A Frames"". Not certain if they are close enough degree of bevel on shafts to work with the 1971 galaxie spindles ports. also cant seperate actual ball from casings to use them in the 57 joint casings( different dimensions, entirely). Or if anyone knows of a manufacturer that can create "custom joints" using specs from both combined to maintain bolt set and such. Any answers would be appreciated, want her ready for good guys in bowling green in october amongst other work on it. THANK YOU ALL.
