pt cruiser computer issues

2005 Chrysler PT CRUISER
July 21st, 2013 06:01:04 pm, posted by BETH ANN CAMPBELL

has any one installed an after market radio that has Bluetooth for your phone and then had the computer not read other areas correctly. we have had shifting issues. engine lite issues. shifting going to limp in mode and now the air bag light. the  repair shop replaced the cam shaft sensor and all issues appeared to clear up but that is when the airbag light came on, they are saying the radio is interfering with the computer reading all of the other signals because the radio is after market. I am wondering if any one else has had this problem our city passed an ordinace for hands free phone use only so I had to have the radio installed to comply with the new law. can anyone help me with this they want to remove the radio and reinstall the old one this makes no sense to me why can't they just bypass the radio so see if that is the problem hope some one can shed some light on this   my pt cruiser is a 2006 not 2005
