need help with engine size1979 Pontiac GRAND PRIX |

I just picked up a car and i havent had a chance to climb under it to get block marking to determine what size this is. I did notice the marking 4790 gm 5.0l g on block behind waterpump, but i assume that is hust telling me it is a small block. It is a pontiac motor, but so far that is all i know. do these markings help me at all for identity ?
