Lammerts Auto |
September 5th, 2014 06:30:22 am, posted by Milo Kincaid |
I noticed your question regarding Lammerts Auto. Henry P Lammerts Was the son of Peter Lammerts and he was my Uncle. Henry's wife was Hildred and was my mother's sister. I would appreciate receiving any information that you turn up on this topic. I know that my Aunt and Uncle had a summer home in Niagra Falls and a summer home in West Palm Beach FL. Every year they would stop by our home in Orlando Florida on their way. They always had a new Cadillac convertible. Since they were not on the best of terms with my mother, I lost touch with them when I left home in the 60s. Since your research indicates the dealership closed in the 60s I would have to conclude that the children did not keep up the dealership. BTW, I always heard that Lammerts was the oldest Cadillac dealer in NY. So maybe not the first anywhere but certainly the first in NY. Please send me any information that you turn up as I would like to know what has happened to this side of my family. my email is: gsvette074@hotmail.com. While I am not a Cadillac enthusiast, I am still "in the family" as I am a long term Corvette enthusiast.
Thanks, Milo Kincaid
