"S" code Mach 1

February 1st, 2010 08:01:54 am, posted by Peter Peterson

There was only one "S" code, so all 390's are the same. When repainting the car, make sure the color of red you choose was available on your make, model, & year. Headers are ok, but keep any stock parts you replace, so that it can return to "original" if desired. You might consider internal engine changes. They don't show and may make you car perform better with today's fuels. I don't know if hood pins were on all Mach 1s, but I would guess they were an option.
