About Dress up of survivor

July 10th, 2009 11:30:28 am, posted by Roger Kirk

I too am a mid-year corvette owner.  I say, as long as what you are doing to your car is what you like, do it.  Why not.  Everything you are doing is reversible and as long as you keep the removed parts so they can be reinstalled should you decide to sell it, no harm done.  I even replaced the muncie 4 speed with a tremec 5 speed to make my car more enjoyable to drive.  I have all the original parts on a shelf in my shop that could  be easily reinstalled over a weekend to put it back to original if need be.  My gas mileage went from 11 to 17.  Best upgrade I ever did to any car.
