I think you might be on to something Herb, but back to your Q. Maybe check with salvage yards for a crossover list, or catalog. As near as I can remember, in 1964 or1965 Buick came out with a turbo400 trans for the 401 and430 engines. Hope I've been a little help to you. Let me know how you make out.
