Should I Restore?

1969 Buick ELECTRA 225 LIMITED
April 12th, 2009 11:08:10 am, posted by Harry Ohe

I have 1969 Buick 2Dr HT 225 Limited in great shape; chrome body, mechanicals, etc. Everything works perfectly except the electric clock. It needs fresh paint, carpet, seat covers, little body work on the RT rear lower panel......garage accident when two weeks old, new V.roof. Runs great, never has needed repair...I updated all the maintenance, fluids, belts, hoses, master cylinder, brakes. Have $9K in it already......... It has high mileage, but very well maintained. Was a one owner belongs to a friend's family

Is it worth proceeding? I am retired, and the cost is unattactive to continue. I est from shops I spoken with that I am facing another $6K to get it showable........Not pebble beach, but nice. It's a great driver w/ a 430 Cu In.

Could I sell it for what I have in it and devote my resorces in my MustangGT Conv.?????   Just afraid to over spend and not get anything out of it in the end. Don't these these lux. car around anymore.........
