Questions and Answers - Classic Car Community

Ride Height

1939 Plymouth MODEL P8
December 23rd, 2012 06:17:45 pm, posted by Todd Krueger

I have installed heavy duty springs and rebuilt orignal front and rear suspension, I am using 15" wheels. I did this to support the installation of a built 1953 Dodge Hemi. I have installed OEM Leaf Springs in the rear with a rebuilt 1971 plymouth Fury rearend, also with 15" wheels.

I am at the point of setting up engine/transmission angle. The front suspension is topped out, because of no motor and heavier duty coil springs.

What is the distance off the ground to the bottom of the front crossmber, between the front wheels.

Tanks in advance;

Todd
