Newport or 300 or both??

1969 Chrysler 300
July 6th, 2012 06:30:12 am, posted by Tim Cherrone

I have a 1969 Chrysler. The car says 300 all over it inside and out. The Title shows 1969 "Newport 300 " and yes the title Vin and car Vin match. Is 300 the series of this Newport? The car does not say Newport on it anywhere. It has hideaway headlamps and came with a 440, 727 trans. Online, I don't find an exact explanation. Is a 300 and a Newport and an Impreial all each different or is 300 a seies of each of those? The Newport 300 on the title has me confused, I thought it would say one or the other. It is a 2dr hard top. Thanks, Tim.
