Classic Cars and WWII Veterans1950 Chevrolet 5 WINDOW COUPE |
March 15th, 2015 07:05:46 am, posted by Michael Poulimas |
I am spearheading an effort for the Carmel 4th of July parade. To honor our WWII veterans, we are trying to reach out to classic car owners who would want to participate in the parade and have a WWII veteran ride with them. We feel this is a great way to pay tribute to a generation who will not be with us much longer. We are also reaching out to find WWII veterans as well so if you know any that would be interested, please let me know.
The parade is on Saturday, July 4th and starts at 10:30. The WWII veterans would be one of the first units in the parade. During the next month, I will determine if there is an interest to organize such an event.
If there are any car owners in your club that would be interested in participating, please contact me.
