The GM21 harness is designed to connect to the stock std. GM steering column, dimmer and ignition switches on most all GM makes and models from the 1960s to early 1980s . The Fuse Box is designed to be compatible and bolt into the stock fuse box location, at the same time upgrading your harness (if it has Glass AGC fuses) to modern ATO fuses. Due to the universal nature of the harness, some GM models may require a small (4x4) steel metal patch if vehicle is using a bulkhead connector. The GM21 will fit, but is not limited to the following: Chevrolet Corvette, Nova, Chevelle, El Camino, Camaro, Nova II, Monza, Buick Electra, LeSabre, Park Avenue, Regal, Riviera, Wildcat, Oldsmobile F-85, Toranado, Cutlass, 442, Delta 88, Pontiac Bonneville, GTO, Firebird, Trans Am , Cadilac Eldorado, Fleetwood, Seville, DeVille, GMC and Chevy Pick-ups, Pre-Chrysler Jeep products, and many, many, more. Standard OEM GM Features: Wiring is GM Color coded GM column connector set provided to directly wire into most standard and aftermarket GM steering columns. You can either reuse your existing bulkhead connector and wire it up with the GM21 fuse panel or patch the firewall with one of our bulkhead patch kits. All our kits are perfect for rewiring any vehicle. Why? Because all motor vehicles share a few things in common, an Engine, Headlights, Turn Signals, Brake Lights, Charging and Ignition systems, Accessories and Gauges. All a fuse block or panel does is provide a fused power source for all those circuits. All you need to rewire any classic are our simple directions, basic tools and an original wiring diagram for your vehicle. You will find it’s simpler and less expensive to install one of our harnesses than to install an OEM harness or try to repair the old one in your car. How can this possibly work on any car? Simple a switch is a switch, turn signals, headlights, ignition systems, starters, they couldn't care less what switched the power on. All you have to do is run the leads from the EZ2Wire Harness to the existing switches, steering column, lamps and accessories. All circuits are color coded, labeled and numbered as to where they go, so its pretty fool proof. I.E. the left front turn wire goes to the left front turn signal lamp no matter what car it is. What's the difference between the EZ2Wire, Kwik Wire, and Autowire Kits? As the old saying goes you get what you pay for. That said, all of the kits I sell are of the highest quality and workmanship. But they all have their pluses and minuses. All are pretty basic, you get the fuse box, fuses, relays, wiring, and GM connectors, that's about it. Directions are downloaded and printed by you and do not come with the kit. These kits are for those looking for the lowest price and are willing to print their directions and go to the store to get a few connectors and such. They are also on average $40-$50 cheaper than the Kwik Wire kits. Kwik Wire Kits feature a much sturdier fuse panel with a metal backing, a kill switch for the engine on the fuse panel, extra thick wire, extra connectors, butt splices, a 50 amp main fuse (instead of a fusible link), and nice color coded directions included. One extra feature unique to Kwik Wire is that they include speaker wire in the harness as well. Overall they make a simple yet extremely beefy kit, which is nearly bullet proof. They tend to be about $30-$50 cheaper than the Autowire kits. American Autowire Kits are the best thought out and engineered harnesses on the market. They also have a lot of extra bells and whistles. They feature everything you could possibly need in a wiring kit. All the connectors, plugs, ground wires for the lighting circuits, specific detailed directions for each individual circuit, etc. A really unique feature of the Autowire kits is that each circuit is separate from the main harness with its own plug. This makes it easy to install because you don't have to wrestle with the whole kit at once. Overall the Autowire kits are the best on the market for a total novice that needs things as simple as they can be. They are set up to make you feel like you are being walked through the whole install process. Autowire also includes toll free customer support.
