Disc Brake Spindles for 1964 Galaxie 500
I am looking for a set of spindles to convert my 1964 Galaxie 500 (VIN 4G66Zxxxxxx) front end to disc brakes. I mistakenly followed some advice from jalopyjournal.com which prescribed 1979 Ford Thunderbird Spindles, Rotors, Calipers, Bearings and Dust Shields. After installing the $200 spent on a good set of used spindles and buying all the other parts new I found out the hard way that those spindles raised the front of the car approximately 1.5\" and threw out the camber, considerably. Any direction or part offers to get my beloved project back on the right track will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
