1965 Mustang
1965 Ford Mustang Coupe, Body, Paint & Interior: • Pearl White paint with black Mustang GT rocker panel stripes, the pearl white paint is one of those details that has to been seen in person to really appreciate, it shimmers and glistens in the sunlight with an iridescent, 3D sheen that sparkles like a jewel when the light hits it just right; • Black and White “tuxedo” Pony interior, white with black inserts, looks very sharp! • New headliner, • Excellent carpet, • Excellent dash, • Grant 13.5 “ GT black steering wheel, • Rally Pack: tach & clock upgrade, • Chrome & black Mustang logo seat belts. • Body is solid with no rust. Door skins & quarter panels are clean with no bubbling in the usual spots. Underbody was re-done 10-15 years ago, new floor pans, rust inhibiting undercoating • Paint is OK. Was repainted 5 years ago and is a driver, so there are some small dings and chips. From 10 feet away she looks perfect. Engine, Transmission & Drivetrain: • #s matching, C Code, 289 V8 rebuilt for speed, power and durability: Approx 10K mi on engine. • Bored .30 over, • Summit Racing 600 cfm 4 bbl carb, • Edelbrock intakes, • Edelbrock aluminum heads, • Lunati bootlegger cam with 351W cam & lifter set, • Stock connecting rods, • Hooker headers • Flow-master mufflers • Petronix electronic ignition • C4 Automatic transmission • Ford OEM Power Steering • Front disc brakes • 15 “ BF Goodrich Radial TA tires • Magnum 500 wheels complete the sporty GT like look.
