1967 Chevelle 300 2 door sedan (post)
1967 Chevelle 300 2 door sedan. These cars are rare in stock condition today since they were built into drag cars and used on the circle tracks. I am doing a frame off restoration on this car right now and spending a ton of money. Some upgrades include disk brakes, 12 bolt posi, and 3.73 gears. You can see the current progress on the car in the photo. The body is back on the frame to align the panels and then it will be taken apart and repainted in the original Emerald Turquoise. Every part on the frame is powder coated the correct shade of black. All new bushings, seals, Hotchkis sway bars, Hotchkis double adjustable upper and lower rear control arms, stock A-arms in the front with poly bushings, poly motor and trans mounts, it is a long list. The interior will be new black vinyl bench seat (might do 300 Deluxe cloth), column shifted automatic. I am replacing the 6 cylinder with your choice of a 454 big block or a L79 350hp 327. I have installed the big block for the time being. I tested the 454 on the dyno and made 478hp and 539 lb-ft torque with oval port heads and oversize valves, I can email the test data and engine details, it is going to shred the tires with 539 lb-ft. I used a Crane hydraulic roller camshaft, the throttle response was awesome. The 327 is fresh and completely rebuilt, but I did not run the 327 on the dyno. Either engine will appear stock as if the car rolled out of the factory with this engine with the exception of a set of black headers and flowmaster exhaust. Look stock, sound good, that is just the way I like this particular car. I will sell it less engine and trans too or install your engine. No power steering, no power brakes, radio delete, painted steel wheels with dog dish caps, original 300 emblems on the quarter panels, original spare tire and jack, everything on this car is new or restored. You will not be disappointed. $55,000 Check out my other ads
