Wal-Mart Stores, and the Orange County Cruisers will host a car show to benefit the University of Virginia Children's Hospital. The show will be held on September 27th with a rain date of the 28th. It will be held at Monticello High School in Charlottesville, Va. Registration starts at 9:00 and the show opens to the public at 10. The charge to enter a car is $15. There will be food, entertainment, and bounce houses for the kids.
Awards will be given for the top 40 cars, plus a cash prize of $500. for first, $250. for second and $100. for third.
Charlottesville radio stations will broadcast live from this event and spots are scheduled to run on both tv and radio in the Charlottesville area. Donations of $3 will be asked for spectators. Children under 12 free with adult.
We hope to make this an annual event. Come help us raise a lot of money for the UVA Children's hospital.
