Hawk Mountain RG# 68 |
| the Hawk Mountain Regional Group is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and enjoyment of Ford Motor Company products manufactured between the years of 1932 and 1953. Our goal is to share our love of “Henry’s Finest” with the public by showing and driving these cars whenever and wherever we can. Members of our Region have saved several of these old Fords from the jaws of the crusher or the onslaught of the dreaded rustworm.
Regional Group activities are geared to family participation. We host a few tours each year through the Pennsylvania countryside (and adjoining states), with at least one tour lasting 2 - 3 days. Ownership of an old Ford is not a prerequisite for membership, only an interest in old cars and good fellowship. Our Charter does require all members to maintain current membership in the Early Ford V-8 Club of America (the national organization).
In addition to group tours, the club hosts an annual Flea Market in the spring in Leesport, PA, and a Car Show and Flea Market every 4th of July in Fleetwood, PA. Both events have grown substantially over the last 20-plus years.
