We are the new proud owners of a 1988 IROC Z. We are the third owner of this Camaro. The seller was the 2nd owner and had title of the car for the last 19 years. He has done a nut and bolt restoration and the car is all original, numbers matching, drivetrain all original. Current mileage 83,930 at purchase. The IROC is in a rare color scheme of Teal over Black exterior, with dual tone Gray leather interior. Car is fully optioned,T Tops, and the only modification being, the radio (originally w/cassette tape player) having been replaced with a factory GM Delco/Bose CD/Radio, as to not detract from the factory look of the interior. The car has been garaged and covered the last 20 years, and the interior is in pristine condition. The cause for restoration was the delamination of the original factory paint (infamous to GM in the late 1980's production line), so the second owner decided to remove the entire drivetrain, have the car repainted/refinished to a high standard. While the drivetrain was removed, the engine went through minor internal refreshing, and then the engine/trans was subjected to resealing before the reinstall. This car is in mint condition and better than new factory condition, and we are proud to own this example of the Chevy Bowtie family. (Photo to come)
