value of 1963 plymouth valiant convertible1963 Plymouth VALIANT SIGNET |

I need to know a ballpark figure on a 1963 valiant convertible, very rough shape. Been sitting under a tarp for 30+ years. Floors rotted out, convertible top disentagrated but the bows are still there. Considerable rust in the quarter panels. Was parked due to trouble in the rear end(don't know what kind of trouble). This car belongs to my father-in-law, who is suffering dementia, and we are trying to sell some of his property to pay for care for him. He gave me a 1956 Ford Parklane stationwagon once, also in very rough shape, and after determining that I didn't want to take on this job, I sold it for $100.00. The fellow I sold it to turned around and sold it for $1,500.00. Did I feel stupid!!! I don't want to get stuck on the valiant like I did on the Parklane but I also don't want to gouge someone who might be interested in it. My father-in-law could use the money more than he can use a car rotting in his backyard. Any info you can give me will be greatly appreciated. I don't even know where to start putting a value on this car. Buddy Aldridge
