Hey, Ron.......bought my first Vertex when they were in Blue Bell Penna. Used it in my killer 301 Chevy/ 55 hardtop hot rod....it was 1960.
Vertex is a magneto = self generating spark. There is no hot/ignition wire. There is a kill ground and a tach wire.
Call Vertex for info. Sounds like time for repairs at Vertex.
No problems, no fun with street rods.
