SOUNDS LIKE YOUR IDLE SPEED IS TO HIGH. COULD BE A CHOKE SETTING OR KICK DOWN SETTING. OR YOUR CARB MAY HAVE A BLOCKED IDLE JET. BOTH COULD CAUSE THE MOTOR NOT TO IDLE SLOW ENOUGH. IF THE ENGINE CAN NOT IDLE IT WILL PULL AGENST YOUR AUTO TRANS TORQUE CONVERTER. CAUSING THE MOTOR TO LOAD TILL IT STALLS. GOOD LUCK..
