ok ,the state patrol has confiscated my original vin tag and they want to destroy it saying once it has been removed it is void. now he says they are needing a crossreference or i have to get a bonded title which will cost me 1/2 the vehicle value. how do i cross reference the body #s ( build #s} to the original vin # . also they said this tag cannot be reattached to car it has to be destroyed. i asked him to keep it in a file til i get this straightened out and he agreed to do so. thanks randy
