replace the distrubtor

having just gone thru the same problem, check for a worn shaft in the distrubitor, engine was smooth as could be at low rpm, but as you went higher the worst the miss, rebuilt at auto zone about $75, you could actually put slight pressure on the cap and it would smooth out//
