Apparently this has been an ongoing issue with these trucks. I have read that the best solution at this time is to purchase a dash cover as Dodge has not corrected the problem with the dash material. You can purchase a molded ABS cap from Dashcovers Plus Depot. There are also carpeted covers available from many online parts companies.
