Registration records search1966 Chevrolet CHEVELLE MALIBU |

I recently found some news about our 66 Chevelle Malibu. It seems that someone in the past modified the car to tow a 5th wheel trailer loaded with posts and poles!? I had heard that rumor previously and dismissed it as being to weird to be true, but it is true. This last weekend we had a car show here in Missoula, Montana in which the "American Graffiti" travelling show attended. I was talking to the crew leader and he told me about something like the Bowtie Association that could do a search using the VIN of the car that would result in listing all owners of the car from the very beginning. What I'm looking and hoping to find out is if this car is the same one that I sold in 1975 when I entered the military. There is a slight chance that this may be true, but I'm not holding my breath. Can anyone help, but I must say I don't have the VIN with me right now.
