Quadrajet 1979 Chevrolet 1/2 TON

I was wondering if the quadrajet on my 350 which is actually out of a 77 Chevy pick up is a dual intake carb? There is a hard fuel line that comes off the back of the carb, but it goes nowhere. I was wondering if maybe this was supposed to be connected to the fuel line that comes into the carb as a dual intake. I know that some holleys are dual intakes, but what about the q-jet
