Need some help1964 Ford FALCON FUTURA |
October 8th, 2007 08:46:16 pm, posted by Greg Lyons |
Hello I am a new member and I have a few questions for you guys. My brothers car is a 1964 Ford Falcon Futura 4-door and it has a 200ci inline six and the ford-o-matic 2spd automatic. I cant for the life of me get the carborator to set right. So my questions are a follows: The car smokes a bluish-grey smoke out of the exhaust, is it burning oil? I can get the car to idle smoothly but, as soon as i shift it into gear it idles very roughly, what can cause this? The carborator has caused me nothing but trouble. It is a holley 1940 single barrel and i am wondering what should I do? Change it for stock one or what?
If you could help me out that would be just wonderful,
Greg
