I need to find a windshield number for my car1960 Cadillac HEARSE |
July 4th, 2014 07:18:20 pm, posted by Lyrae Perry |
I have a 1960 Cadillac Superior hearse/ambulance combo with suicide doors. I need to replace the front windshield and recently learned that the windshield I need will have a part number of 568, 569 or 570. That number is supposed to be next to the vin number under the front windshield area/drivers side. There's absolutely NOTHING there... and I'm guessing it's because Superior removed that when they put the custom windshield in place when the car was converted to a hearse combo.
I have found 3 tags with info on them--one was the basic Cadillac construction, one is from superior, but neither have a specific reference to a windshield size that's a 3 digit number. The work order number tag helps, but it's really only the year and vin number - it doesn't give me any three digit number.
If there's anyone on this list that has a 1960 Cad Superior build-out and/or knows what number windshield I need, would you please write to me and let me know? I Thank you so much!
