I need a little more speed1962 GMC 3/4 TON |

I have a 62 GMC 3/4 ton truck. It has a 305 V6, 4 speed transmission (low 1st gear) It goes about 55 or 60 mph top speed. I told it has a dana 60 rear end or a Corprate rear end (i have no idea what that means) Ive been told I could Swap out the stock 4.11 gears and put in 3.5 gears to get better hiway speeds. Ive also been told nobody has these gears. Is there a solution for this?
