Engine Noise - 1928 Model A1928 Ford TUDOR |
| November 2nd, 2009 06:49:47 am, posted by Perry Points |
I have restored this car 13 years ago. It has not been driven more that 1000 miles since. Now I am getting a (rod knock?) type noise, only when the spark is advanced and the engine is under a load, ie. accerlerating or moving up hill. Some fellow local club members suggest the center main bearing needs to be scrapped, or that the timone gear has a problem.
Would any one mave any othert suggestions?
