Car does not start1968 Datsun FAIRLADY ROADSTER |
November 16th, 2009 06:05:44 pm, posted by Jim Powell |
1968 Roadster is new to me. I was cleaning and disconnected the battery - when I re-connected, I connected the wrong battery posts and there was a spark and there was smoke coming from what I think was the starter motor area. I bought a new battery and voltage regulator, and connected up the batter correctly, but even the lights do not come on - what am I missing? Is there a fuse or a fuse link that I blew? I[m not a mechanic, but can do small things. Can anyone help with troubleshooting for a 1968 roadster 1600? My cell is 760-972-6696. Jim Powell, thanks
