Bad running mustang1965 Ford MUSTANG |
| July 27th, 2009 12:56:52 pm, posted by Lou Iaccino |
I have a 1965 Mustang 289 with an edelbrock 1400 series carb. The car sat for 3 years and then when I started it I founf it wouldn't run worth a damn. I opened the carb and cleaded all the junk out of the bowls and now it seems to run a touch better. The problem is I cant seem to keep the idle low. It stalls imeadiately. Als, when I try to put it in drive it stalls. I have been beating my head against a wall trying to figure it out. Any help would be great. Thank You
